Well, nowhere near as nice was this CC (not "N") that went for just over $50. I bid, but I was bottom fishing and did not get it.

What about a Konica S-3 as an alternative? 38mm instead of 35mm, of course. But what's a silly 3mm when they're much more common?
I haven't used either, so can't comment on the differences in image quality.

The Konica S3 lens is supposed to be fantastic (haven't used one yet myself) but the main reason I myself would choose a CC(N) over the S3 is aperture-priority instead of shutter-priority (both cameras lack manual override, so I'd rather choose the form of automation that is actually usefull to me).
