Hi everyone!

I want to buy a decent 135mm M lens. Not to old. Not to expensive. Anything around available for me at a decent price?😕

The Canon and Nikon LTM lenses of the 50s and 60s are considered very good and are relatively inexpensive, less than $200. The Leitz Elmarits are faster, f2.8, and also priced relatively inexpensively compared to other Leitz lenses.

Feel free to post a WTB add in our classified section. WTB listings are free to all registered members.

I purchased my mint 135 f2.8 Elmarit for less then $300. The goggles really help in foucusing and composing. A bit heavy, but a great lens.
I agree. It is a little bulky and heavy, but great. I use it when I *really* want to use it. No room for it in my bag. I also got it for less than $300. Much, much less 😀

Thanks everyone! I would love to get a f2.8, not to old. I will try to get one via the WTB section! Good idea! Thanks!

I use the Elmarit head on a Visoflex on an MDa. Would work equally well on an RF M. What you loose on weight from the goggles and the focussing thread, you gain on the Visoflex, but it makes for a great heavy and slow SLR. Fun to use and excellent lens!

Buy a black Canon 135/3.5 - it will be as good... no. I'll argue that it will be better than any of the other's mentioned in this thread. If you need the 135 length on an RF, get the Canon. No one else comes close.
