Since I am of celtic decent, i made it a point to know what was under it. And yes I have one and wear it every year at the Celtic festival, but the wind blows a lot, here, so I refrain from tradition

I still think invading England would give us the opportunity to create a digital Reid.

Okay,
Here's the Plan.
We let our hair grow long and look like Moe Howard, form a Rock Group, off we go.
Yeah, Yeah, yeah.
No One Expects The British Invasion.

Does anyone remember Iggy Pop and the Stooges? No?

Oh Man, Iggy and the Stooges. We used to catch them on the tubeoocasionally when I was in high school. Usually late night weekend rockshows.
Totally American though. Completely raw and not as artsy as VelvetUnderground (who I aslo enjoyed). About the worst Iggy behavior Icaught on TV was smearing peanut butter on his torso while on camera.
A definite precursor to punk.

The English hate the French so much that the high speed Paris to london train loops right around London to come into a station in the south west of the city called Waterloo.
It humilates them every time they need to get a taxi there and the driver says 'You are too late for the battle'.

RJ: The old avatar was ditched because I wanted to try out an animated avatar.
Given that we're all visual people in here and technically talented I'm surprised that I've never seen another animation.

What is turning me off is the endless completely non-photo related threads and the arguing, whining, and "I want the last word" and "I'm right and you're an idiot for daring to post an opposing view" attitudes shown by some.
I 'm sorry to say I have to agree with this, and its the reason my "ignore" list is increasing in size. They are the types who can ONLY get their views aired on an internet site, if they behaved this way face to face in public, they would get their "lights punched out" so sadly they take it out on the rest of us. At least in the pub you can turn your back , and ignore them.
In fairness it seems to be a feature of many "interest" sites. I've seen the same on astronomy sites, another interest of mine, and on other photography forums. :bang:
Please Jorge whatever you do, don't remove the "ignore" feature, at least it gives us some control over this situation.

Deep in the dark voids of my iPod I found The Passenger and Lust for Live. But since we have a blue sky and the sun is shining I'm more in a Loving Spoonfull state of mind and listen to Summer in the City.
Hm, I think I'll look for my headphones grab the next camera bag and take a walk.

I wish.
I ran across the thread while visiting the "something different forum." Appears to have a mind of its own. Or perhaps the thread refused to be banished.

How many is enough?
I'm borrowing the term from a previous poster and applying it in a different way... but we should consider "Happy Hour" as the term for the place where one can go to rant, yell, scream, piss and moan about things not RF specific.

And at times, it has been quite mindless.
