i seem to have lost the software for my canon 2710 and minolta dimage dual iv scanners.
i moved a few months ago and still have boxes to unpack and i'm hoping the software is there somewhere.
but for now, can it be found on the net or can something like vuescan be used in it's place?
sorry, i'm not the most savvy with this stuff.

Real Men Shoot Film.
Look on Canon's website for the Canon software. Its probably there for Download. I have a Nikon scanner and I know they still have software for their older models on the Nikon USA website. Minolta is harder, does Konica Minolta still have a site with support for the scanners, or does Sony?

I have a Canoscan FS4000, which when I moved (reluctantly) to Vista was not supported, and Canon were just plain not interested in helping!!!!
I with help from Jan on RFF I was pointed to Vuescan. Works great, far better than the Canon driver, more options for a start!!
Vuescan is recommended
