Loupes and projector lenses and viewers?

I assume some folks here shoot slides and look at them on a
light box, slide viewer or projector. I want a good affordable
loupe (I have a color correct light box) and looking for suggestions. It would be nice to have a better hand held single
slide viewer as well, any suggestions? I have done a lot of testing of projector lenses and one that really is nice, bright
and sharp to the edges is the Raynox 100mm F2.8. It was made
in Japan, uses glass vs Kodaks plastic elements. I got mine
used locally for about $20. I use it reversed held to my eye for a loupe too. The 100-150 FF Kodak projector lens is ok, but not nearly as good as the Raynox.

The Pentax 5.5x loupe is fantastic. It is about 80 dollars though, and I don't know if that is your idea of affordable. I like it because it is 5.5x, yet still full frame and it has a nice big viewing area.

Mamiya makes a 4x loupe that is 60 bucks and is the standard loupe for the photo students around here. I have their zoom loupe which I got through one of their rebates -- their loupes have great build quality and the glass is excellent. The zoom is not quite full frame, but for critical inspection it is awesome.
For loupes though, I think the pentax is the best all around that I have seen.

Projection lenses are another story. I think for kodak mount the golden navitar lenses are supposed to be the best. I have not tried them because I found a good deal on a leica projector and picked that up. Consequently I have a lens available if you want it. It looked pretty good to me. It's an Isco-Optic 60mm f/2.8 PC Ultra lens with perspective control. I bought it used right before I found the leica projector. If you want it, I will send it over, no charge, as I don't have any use for it. PM me if you interested. In any case, good luck!

Thanks for the loupe suggestions. I dont need a projector lens,
I was just commenting on the one I have and like. Maybe another
forum member could use it. Thanks.

I have read very good things about the Pentax loupe also. I don't use a light-box, but preview my slides with a small 3" screen German projector.
