Low Contrast 50mm Lenses for M9

I picked up my Nikkor 50/1.4 LTM here at RFF about 2-3 years ago. It was $250 at the time.

It's a cool lens. As others have posted, its softer, lower contrast, and is very 'glowy' wide open. Stopped down a couple stops it's pretty sharp and contrast goes up.

Roger, would it be possible for you to post a comparison shot with and without the Tiffen filter? I've always wanted to try them out...

the chrome Canon LTM 50/1.8 has quite low contrast. I was shooting some comparison pics another day vs the DR Summicron and the 50/1.5 Nokton and the contrast on the Canon pics was much lower than on the DR ones, which were a tad less contrasty than the Nokton.

The Canon 50/1.8 is a fantastic lens.
