A lot will depend on whether or not new RF digi cameras are built to replace the M8 and RD-1. At the moment they are the only RF digi game in town.

Agree. For M8 obsolesence to occur, digi RFs with improved tech must be available at competitive prices. M8 and RD-1 prices will then decline accordingly. Time doesn't create obsolescence. New product introduction does.

Bottom feeders like me need obsolescence. Unable to afford the latest, I happily graze on cheapened earlier gen gear. Good enough for my meager ability, yep.
