:bang::bang:I am using a 1954 Summitar 5cm f2 Screw mount on my Leica M6 and my negatives are definitely not sharp. Could there be a problem with the adapter? Should I stick with M mount lenses?

Are you sure the Summitar is pulled out all the way?

Probably be able to tell more if you posted a picture taken with the setup and maybe of the setup itself. Does the lens look clear? Not hazy or anything? Are you sure the adaptor is screwed on the whole way? Is it better if it's stopped down to say f/8 or f/16?
