Hi, long time lurker, new poster here.
Perhaps, this question was put before by some amateur RF photographer like myself, nevertheless I can't find an answer.
On Zorki I have to turn focus ring all the way to the closest focusing distance before de-/remounting lenses to avoid rangefinder misalignment, does the same rule apply to R3A with LTM adapter ring?

I have a 75mm ltm lens with the Voigtlander "m" adapter and I've never done this, or even heard that it might be needed. I have an R2A. I'm interested to know if I've been doing it wrong. :bang:

The focussing cam of a lens protrudes least when the lens is set to its closest distance. At that position it brings only a little pressure to bear on the cam follower in the camera. I use an M Leica but, as a matter of habit, rotate the focussing barrel to closest focus when mounting or dismounting a lens.
