LTM lenses on Zenit-C

Hi All,

Recently acquired a CLA’d Zenit C and have been shooting with the standard Industar 50 lens. I love the camera and the results have been wonderful.

I’m considering investing in a nice Mir-1 37mm for the camera. I know the focus planes are different but I would love to use my LTM lenses (J-9, J-8 , etc). Anyway to adapt these lenses to the Zenit C?

If you want to use them for anything other than macro work, you'd have to remove the mirror and cut down the mirror box.

Simple answer: no. It would be possible, in theory, to have a "corrective" optical adapter but you'd have to make it yourself, from scratch. I'm pretty sure there never was such a device manufactured, probably because it wouldn't make commercial sense.
