Those are steals compared to the one that just sold yesterday. 181840 (red C, and cool number). "Unused" in original box with inspection card and case. Sold for $4900 after 70 bids.

Mine is #182580, no C
I think this is a new record for a LTM W-Nikkor 3.5cm F1.8 lens. With the box and paperwork, a collector's delight. Sold for JPY 900,000. I didn't expect it to go that high.

Interesting that we've yet to see a serial number outside the range of serial numbers we've known for some time. Only 1544 lenses in total if Nikon used all the serial numbers in the known range (very unlikely imo).

Great to know 1544 might be the max, and likely less.
In the past somewhere I heard less than 1700.
Anyways great to own this lens, and it gets used a lot.
