Hi everyone!
I just finished my little project of fixing my fed3 with great results!
Now i'm on to my lubitel 2, which seems to have a few problems, which where mainly caused by the lubricant which is more similar to glue. I'd like to know if anyone has got any info on how the shutter system works. It's the zt-8. This shutter is the same on the lubi 166.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I bought one many years ago, when they sold new for about 12 bucks. It was a fun camera and I was upset when I dropped it and the back broke in two. A bit of epoxy and it was good as new, without any light leaks along the glued crack. The lens isn't really all that bad but the camera is too slow to operate for shooting weddings...LOL Todd has it now and he likes to tinker. He probably knows how to fix the shutter.

I had one of these when I was a kid. Never got a single picture that I liked. Had much better luck with the 35mm scale focus Smena-2 (another USSR piece) that replaced it...

I bought one for 12,50 euro's just for the fun of it. If I had a problem with it, I would use it as a decoration. I can pick another up here in Holland for the same price.
When I saw the Lomo site I just can't believe that people would pay around 200 dollars for it.
But it is a nice camera and the lens is sharper then expected.
The interlocking taking and viewing lens is charming.
The minus is the viewfinder, which is extremely dim.

Here a picure I took on my first and only roll with my Lubitel 2 :

All in all, I like the Lubitel 2.
