As the story of ascender/Charlie/seal unfolded over the weekend I thought, so he has a M8…..OK, a M8 and an enviable set of film bodies and lenses…..fine. a M8 and an enviable set of film bodies and lenses a super-model a job that gives him access backstage, interesting colleagues, worldwide travel, free time in the daylight and privileged contacts at leica…Oh…and an artistic temperament………..the lucky sod, sorry if you’re reading this Charlie a failing in me not a criticism of you

Then I thought…..well you’d have to take some seriously good pictures with that all lot to justify having it. It probably won’t happen now but it would have been nice for this site to have hosted his gallery and a shame he got such a bumpy reception, and although not a fan I for one will keep an eye on his web-site

And on the up side I now have many good reasons now why my pictures are less than perfect, so thanks Charlie I hope the tour and everything else or that matter go well
