Today I received my Luigi case for the X-Pro1, WOW! Talk about a stunning way to protect the camera. I'm not new to Luigi's wares but this is slick.

Highly recommended.

Sorry gang, having trouble post from my Flickr stream. Until I learn here are links of images taken from my iPhone. Apologies for the quality but it's the only other camera I have with me.

There are a couple nitpicks I have about the case and strap but overall I love it.
The second and third photos are private. The first phot makes the case look nice, though.

I contacted Luigi via email. He said a case for the X-Pro1 would take 25 working days or I could get the design the existing design. I opted to go ahead with what he had and have it delivered quickly. Said he was modifying the grip, as I recall.

The design is divine. Initially I thought some of the openings were a little slim for the size of my fingers. But, after an hour of use I feel very differently. All works nicely, IMHO. The flap on the back is a nice feature and definitely cuts back on the chimping factor.

For those who've not had the pleasure of owning / seeing a Luigi case in person just let me call his wares the nicest case money can buy. They're expensive but they're REALLY nice. Well worth the money. The leather is top notch, as only the Italians can produce. The fit perfect. Literally perfect. I favor the removable flap over the window I have on the case for my R-D1S.

Happy to answer questions and show more detail for interested parties. Just don't ask to buy this case from me.
