That's hilarious!
I think the joke is on the "intellectual" crowd
I like the guy's answers.

The best camera is one that still works!
In my occasional gallery shoots I quite often bump into these types of patrons.
Literally sometimes ... because they won't get out of my way!
If Homer (beer boobies and pizza) was a photographer he'd need this camera!

Looks like my local camera club nowadays, thats why I left. Full of pretentious self publicists, sorry "artists"

I did not percieve this as a mockery of photography as well, if then it is a mockery of the pictured audience.
At least Panasonic does not make a secret about the camera's target group. EP-2's seem to be already quite fashionable in that segment.

The funniest ad I've seen in this country was this ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdN3PDeErvw
And I agree ... I should have said mocking the pretentious patrons!

Keith, I liked the advert, but I thought that Toohey's in it's various forms was mediocre beer (spent last week in Sydney and Katoomba); a well made beer, but essentially flavorless, like American Budweiser. I quite liked the products from James Squires, Ltd., though, especially the amber ale.

I agree with that sentiment. I've never been able to work out what people see in Tooheys, my question is how do they get the cats to sit over the bottles?

Keith, very cool ad.
That guy is great - spot on answers to a strange crowd.
He could as well have taken the shots with any camera and shown up with an iPhone.
My favorite answer also is "pretty quick".

I thought it was sort of a post-modern naivety thing ... in a slightly knowing retro way that is obviously ...
