Lynx 1000 question

Folks,
A while back I got a Lynx 1000 from another RFFer. And haven't used it.:bang:
(embarrassing confession: I left the package it came in at my mom's house and she just asked me,"How long are you going to leave this camera here?")
So, two questions:
The camera is in very nice condition but the frame counter is confusing me--does this one reset itself or do I need to do something to set it?
Haven't put film in the camera yet but the counter counts when I dry fire the camera.
The rest of operating the camera seems fairly straight forward but does anyone have a link to, a scan of, or a source for the manual?
Any other quirks of this camera I should be aware of?

Kim, my browser read the smilie at the end of your link as part of the address. Not a big deal as I've had your site bookmarked for a while. And last night when I checked my "obvious suspects" for the manual, I'd forgot that you have a lot more than just Pentax stuff there! Sorry.
