Can anyone help, when I cock the film advance lever on my Lynx 1000 the toothed take-up spool dosen't move.
Any ideas?

No ideas as to how to fix it, but it sounds significant. It might be worthwhile to get another on ebay as they go for a pretty low price, which amazes me considering what a great camera it is.

Without seenig it or more information, it is difficult to tell. I would first look to see if it is jammed in "rewind" mode.
