Couldn't find much info but does anyone know what the jpeg buffer is on the M ? Very curious to see if it's much deeper than the M9.

According to Sean Reid, in single frame mode, the camera can shoot frame after frame after frame w/o ever pausing. Would be true for DNGs as well.
