Ahhh..great... a Planar. According to Jonmanjiro, the RF lens, the Millennium 50/1.4, is what you are looking for and there is an adaptor available for it. See post #68

I had this lens on my S3 2000 and it is the sharpest lens I have ever used. I think it is the best you can get in 50mm for what you are looking for.

Leaving discussions about optical formulas aside I can tell that I had two samples of the latest M-Summicron, one tabbed and the one with the sliding hood which are supposed to be identical optically. Contrast is visibly higher than what i get from my Nikkor 2/50mm Ai, oof-rendering is quite comparable. I'd choose one of the older summicrons for the look of the Nikkor in a Summicron as they are lower in contrast but I didn't use them long enough to really give an in depth comparison.
I don't think it is easy to draw any conclusions from the above pictures. The bokeh of the first you would possibly get from the latest Summicron, though, which is also a bit "vivid" at times.

Or a how about a Helios 103 53/1.8 in contax rf mount with an Amedeo adapter. It's a Planar with less contrast than the modern ZM/CV 50s.

The Helios I used on a 4am matched in contrast and oof-rendering nicely to the Nikkor, far better than a modern Summicron. But at least compared to the Ai-version colours will be not what you are used to. Judged by the above examples this probanly won't matter.

Enjoy Life.
I use a millennium Nikkor with an Amadeo adapter a fair amount and it's a beautiful combo. The only thing to be aware of is that it focuses backwards from all Leica lenses. If you need to focus quickly it can throw you off a bit if it's not your primary lens.
