M-P 240 half cases

Interesting. Many do not like the Leica 1/2 case at all, including Steve Huff.

" Sure you can buy a $200 Gariz or a $300 Classic Cases or a $700 Luigi set or even the awful fitting $130 Leica case for the M but none are as good as this one when it comes to doing what it was meant to do."

"Leica’s own cases are the worst of the lot with sloppy fits and odd designs."

Has Huff been huffing or is the Leica case not that good?

Huff is wrong. The Leica case for the M-P typ 240 is excellent quality, excellent fit, and a reasonable price. I've compared it side by side with the A&A case for the M9 and the Arti de Mano case for the X: it's right in there with both of those on all counts.

It's actually cheap compared to many.
I found it a curious comment by Huff as I doubted that Leica would have released a poor fitting case.

Mine is here and is fine - fit, finish and quality are up to usual Leica standards. It doesn't have a super pronounced grip bulge, but that's OK.
