m-rokkor 28mm white spot repair?

white spots

white spots

How to fix the white spots on this lens ?
is possible?

Possible, yes.

Cost effective, probably not.

Do the white spots affect the image? Sometimes they are so small in size and in number and situated on the most extreme outside perimeter that they don't prevent the lens from performing well.

This website is down and their e-mail doesn't work. Is there someone else who can fix this problem?

Cheers

I remember that in a recent thread (either here or on L-camera forum) a German company (located somewhere in northern Germany) servicing Konica-Minolta products was mentioned, but unfortunately I didn't save the link (neither to the company's webpage nor to the thread). Maybe you'll find it through some searching.

Hi
I made inquiries at www.kamera-service.info. They can do it (mine costed 75 euro excl. tax and shipment)

good luck

Geert

Thanks for that link Geert! I just bought a 28 Rokkor for 170 EUR (with caps, hood and original package) where I had expected to pay at least 300 EUR, and the only problem with it is the white spots on the extremes of the inner lens elements, so the cheap price of white spot repair makes my bargain even more of a bargain.
