Didn't even know that a M11 release was on the cards! What about the M10-R, wasn't that only released not long ago?

I hope it comes soon and brings the original M10 price down to $3500-4000.

M240, M-P, M-A, Me-262 (whoops, no, that’s a WWII jet), M10-R… I just can’t keep track of these things. I still have trouble with the differences between M4-P and M4-2.

The thing about leica is when the old model is superseded by the newer one the old new stock never goes at a discounted rate.. Given the model appreciates every few years in 30 or so years time leica will inevitably have to top raising their prices or theyll find themselves in a hole. That or the devaluation of the dollar...

Eleven, think about it, it’s an odd number. Not a good marketing strategy. They’ll probably produce it in limited numbers, quickly introduce the 11P, or R, or PR, or perhaps the 11pm… and a few months after that get Lenny Kravitz to scuff a few up, slap on a snake skin strap and sell them as “limited - limited” editions. So far so good, but then… a few months later (maybe a year) unveil the M12. The M12 will be the Leica that we’ve all really (I mean really) been waiting for.
