M2 Market Price

Does anyone know what the current going price of an M2 body in Excellent condition is?

I have a client who's been hemming and hawing about selling me her M2, but has asked me what I thought the fair value of it might be. I told her I'd have to get a look at it to check its cosmetics (I coudn't care less, so long as it worked to spec). But I haven't really been able to nail down the value thing to my satisfaction.

I think the general average price is between $600 and $700. That said, it varies widely too. I have seen them sell for as low as $400, often for in the $500s. Some go for $800 or more.

The M2 is a tricky bug to nail down. Yes, condition means a lot, cosmetic and functional. Is the viewfinder clear, showing any delamination? Does it have a quick load kit installed? Button or lever rewind? Self timer?
