Tell me about it - am I crazy or what, but I am considering selling one of my MPs and getting a second M2!With the spare change, I will be able to get a nice lens to go with it too.....
Congratulations on obtaining Maya! I have yet to go so far as to name my Ms, but you are in good company with Venchka, aka Wayne, and his twin M5s, Bigfoot and Bubba.
---No Vieri you are very far from crazy. I love my MP, but most of the time I just prefer my M3 and M2s over the MP. Strange, perhaps, but not crazy, often I prefer to use a handheld meter and not have the LED diodes in my VF. The M2 has the least distracting VF of all the Ms.

Glad to hear that I didn't lose it completely (yet!)
indeed, the M2's VF is the best I used, including the M3 - I use 35 a lot, and besides even using a 50 while focus is easier I miss the extra space around the frame; and as you, I like to use an external meter when I am not guesstimating. Plus, I am telling myself that I am still keeping 1 MP for those times when a built-in meter is needed

Wow, I am so happy for you Gabor....it is such a fantastic camera; you will know what all the prattle-chatter is about after you take it out with your favourite 35.
I knew it was merely a matter of time, Gabor!
But I thought that what would make you collapse would be the sight of my black paint M2
I can hardly wait to get it back from DI.
