Hi guys!
When I bought my Leica M2 a friend gave me an old "damaged" Summitar 50mm f/2 (M39 mount). I tested it on digital and film (on a Canon 7 Rf) and it worked very well, despite the bad spots on some lenses. I published the results here around.
But, to work with M2 the Summitar needsa an adapter. The Leica ones are rare and expensive so, I bought a cheap Fotodiox (for 50 & 70mm) and went to test it. I also used an Asian made lens hood.
Results were perfect! The adapter worked flawlessy, engaging the 50mm frame and Rf.
Film was Ilford Pan F+ rated @25 Iso and developen in FX39
Images speaks by themselves... 😉
