M3 on the bay for $500

I am not a Leica man, but I just saw this M3 on eBay for a BIN of less than $500 and I thought someone here might be interested in a user-M3.

I have high hopes that my $500 M3, bought in this forum to compensate for selling (sob) my black M4, is a better buy, the same era M3, but with no dings and no haze in the VF. Where did I buy it? Here!

It's also interesting that while I got maybe 16 or 20 responses in the first hour in my listing here, I got two responses in around 12 hours at p.net....

Lower numbered Leica M3 cameras without the frame line preview selector (like this one), it seems to me, typically sell for less than higher numbered cameras in similar condition. The price seems reasonable to me (not excessively low); as has already been pointed out, I would plan on a CLA.

the lower numbered M3 typically suffers from faint rangefinder patch, making it almost impossible to focus, it is also prone to jam.
