M3 or M2 with wideangle (25mm) lenses info please (newbie)

One thing you might find annoying having come from an SLR world, the auxiliary finder for a 24 or 25mm lens has a good bit of barrel distortion. I find it annoying when dealing with straight lines but have been a leica shooter for nearly 40 years and have adapted to it.

Going in another direction here, I have found that the combination of a Leica CL with the CV 25mm lens and ext. viewfinder, is a sweet package that somehow works (for me) with a greater synchronicity than average.

Hmmm... Continuing in this direction, the CV 25mm works very well on the Minolta CLE, where the .6x viewfinder's entire area approximates the lens's field of view. I have found this combination very useful. (BTW here two scoops at the heladería in Torremolinos)
