M3 question

Hello again,
I finally got him to say a price: 1400 euros is his request. Too much I guess; that's twice what laptop rob suggested above. He insists it's a collectro's, the serial numbers, the accessories... I just wanted a camera to use.

Just wanted to say thanks, Tom A., for your tips posting above. Always nice to learn how others operate and what has worked for them.

Just be patient and keep looking. Don't fall in love with the first (second, third, fourth, fifth, etc...) find you come across, cause there will always be deals popping up.

It took me well over a month of checking numerous resources daily (ie: here, p.net, eBay, numerious photography forums, local classifieds, used camera retailers, etc...) until I found a decent one this weekend.

With the US dollar doing the way it is, have you considered buying from keh.com? They have quite a few bargain condition DS M3's in stock. Don't let "bargain" fool you. They are very conservative with their condition ratings.

sienarot, about buying from non EU countries, customs getting in the way are a major problem. I have just bought a polaroid back and a lens shade from Japan and I got charged 15 euros by the customs that added to 15 dollars for shipping accounts to a 60% increase over the price of the objects.
