What a great topic - it involves my favorite Leica and shooting meterless!
I am with Steve; I also shoot meterless and find little difference in results using my M3 using an educated guess versus the MP with meter. Even I learned quickly, I also use primarily 400 B&W. I know those numbers, so if I occasionally use 100/200/800/1600 I can do the 400 multiples pretty quickly - I just get thrown off with crooked ASAs. So little difference, that I have not bothered putting a battery in the M6 for a few months - can't do that with a M7/8!
