M39 lens to Minolta MD body

Hello everyone, I ask you for help because I am going crazy to find an adapter (if any) to mount an m39 lens (Canon 50mm) on a Minolta MD (XD7) camera body.
Is it possible?
Would anyone know how to help me?

You wouldn't be able to focus to infinity. A typical rangefinder lens needs to sit much closer to the film than an SLR lens to reach infinity focus. In SLRs, the mirror occupies that space and SLR lenses are designed around that longer focal flange distance. Minolta lenses are great and even a 50 1.4 is much cheaper than the Canon. Get one.

You can get an MD to m42-screw adapter for definite, I have one. Then you can put an m42/m39 step ring on. Works well for an SLR lens but as noted, the spacing would be all wrong for an RF lens.

There may be an M39 to MD adapter for old M39 Zenit SLR lenses. But your RF lens won‘t work. As mentioned, I‘d get a native MD lens. Inexpensive and excellent in quality.
