Hi,

I've been using my M4-P for a couple of months now and its happened twice to me , usually the whole film is somewhat affected, that some frames are very blown out and white on their right edge. Is this from the camera, from developing or anything else?

Cheers,

Edit: As stated above...

Looks like a problem I had recently. Take a look at your shutter. With the back of your camera open, make sure that the "ends" of both curtains are out of view both before and after the exposure. You should only be able to see the cloth material.

I saw this on my M2, but didn’t think much of it, until I got a few results like yours. A CLA cleaned it right up, and the shutter seems to function more “crisply” now.

As stated, it is a shutter slowdown. Does it happen at specific speeds (125/250)? In that case it could be a shutter brake adjustment. Also check for obvious things like a filmchip in the shutter curtain track. It should not be a big problem and a CLA will clear it up.
