Does this exist? i have been offered an M6 which appears to be a classic with an 0.58 viewfinder magnification. I cannot find this anywhere?
Would this have been a special 'upgrade' by Leica?
Should it be worth more than a regular 0.72 ?
Thanks

M6 could have 0.58 finders installed. Don Goldberg could do it and I suspect that leica would do it too. It is a very good fonder if you are shooting with 28/35 as primary lenses.
Usually this involved switching finders between a 0.58 TTL and the regular M6 - not a huge job (if you had access to both cameras and did not have to "buy" the finders).
As for value - if you want a M6 with a 0.58 - it could be worth a bit more - but not by much - at least in my opinion.

thanks Tom, i'm actually just checking with the seller whether it is really a 0.58 finder. I do shoot 35mm lenses mostly so it would really fit me. thanks again.
