M6 Classic with .58 viewfinder?

It could be modified. Sherry Krauter or DAG can replace with one, I believe. Besides it could be a mistake by the lister.

The camera in the picture is definitely a .72 classic, but the description in the box (which seems to have been lifted verbatim from some brochure or ad) says "M6TTL". The seller has 100% positive feedback for 43 auctions but it seems like he doesn't know Leicas very well. $1800 buy-it-now for a .72 M6 classic and IV-gen 35 Cron is a decent price, assuming they are in good condition and don't need service. Still and all I personally wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Call me chicken but I wouldn't buy any big-ticket item from the bay.

I'm certain the classic M6's are all .58's. The .72's and .85's are M6 TTL's.

I think it might be the other way around. I think all the classics are .72 and the TTL's had the option of .58, .72, and .85
