I've damaged th rewinder on my M6. It still does the job but one semicurcular side has come away from the central axle...it seems strained when I wind it.
I'm not going to stop shooting, I don't care if I have to rewind my film with a pair of pliers ha ha...
But seriously, where can I find a new crank?

I would recommend Don Goldberg of DAG camera. He generally has a good supply of M6 related parts. Good luck.

I suggest you replace it with the rewind crank from a Leica SL-2 - it's brass instead of alloy and is much more durable. (Don from DAG turned me on to this.)

this is the M6 weak spot

DAG has the SL2 rewind knobs, get an M3 advance lever while you're at it. Makes the m6 much more sturdy.
