M6 TTL last batch?

Would anybody happen to know what serials the final batch carried?

Mine carries 259 xxxx and I get the feeling it was pretty late on...

I had seen that before, however it only catalogues until '99, I believe the TTL was made until 2001, just wondered what the last lot of serials were, I would imagine mine must be quite late.

One of mine is in the list, the other one isn't, so I'm assuming it's one of the late bunch.

Weren't the last 500 or so a special addition? I think I had a chance to buy one at a fair price, but balked at the time.

There was a special edition for the last 999 made (DIE LETZTEN 999). Stephen Gandy has a bit of info on them at http://www.cameraquest.com/mguide.htm (under the M6 TTL section). He notes that it was in Dec. 2002?

Thanks Harry, turns out that mine isn't as late as I thought; it was built in 2000.

That tool is pretty handy! Apparantly there was an M4 made in 1969 with the serial 1234567...
