Thanks to everyone for your valued opinions. This thread has helped me figure out that I will in fact get an M6 TTL and have it modified, and save up for an MP, sell the M6 and buy a lens.

Aren't we lucky we can play around like this though?

There are very few products one can buy and resell and not lose money on..create an "MP" fund you deposit in once a month and in time you'll get there.

You'll have time to learn the "M", have a reliable modern model that will not depreciate, let you down, etc. I think when the time comes you'll be very pleased spending the extra $ saved for the MP.

I genuinely feel you'll immediately realize a difference btw the two models.


Either way, you can't lose here.
