Hi,

I've just got hold of a SF 24D with no instructions for my M7. Could someone reply with a quick tutorial please? I read somewhere that in TTL mode you measure the distance to your subject then dial in the aperture into the flash and lens. Do i need to set the shutter speed as well?

Thanks

J

If it's like the M6TTL and SF20, just set it to sync speed and shoot away, any aperture and any distance without changing settings. I found my SF20 a little hot and dial in a little negative compensation on the flash. In manual mode I think you have to make those adjustments. Hope this is somewhat helpful,

Jim

All you need to do is set the M7 to AUTO and the SF24D to TTL.
The correct shutter speed is automatically selected and the M7 tells the SF24D the ASA. No need to do anything else. Set whatever f stop you want on the lens, focus and shoot. Ready light in the M7 finder lights when flash is ready.
