M8/M9 users: How many also shoot large format film?

My M8 has more than satisfied my needs for 35mm film and medium format. However, large format, especially 8x10 still have unique qualities such as incredible resolution ( 1000 megapixels) tone, perspective control, depth of feild control, etc,,. My digital M is with me most of the time, but sometimes I have the bug or itch to pull the heavy artillery out and go for a 8"x10" negative. Anyone else here have similar feelings?

Yes, I use formats up to 12x15 inch, but a trick I especially like is faking whole-plate contact prints with a 3x enlargement off Linhof 56x72mm.

I shoot with an 8x10 on occasion, and still have an 11x14 which rarely gets used- it is an order of magnitude more expensive as well as being more difficult.

Nothing larger than 4x5 for me. If i know I will want to print pretty large, or in B&W, I shoot that, or my mamiya 7ii, rather than an M9.

4x5 here: I can see a M9 replacing medium format (with the right lenses and technique) but not large format. Wet printing with both MF and LF negs is a joy not to be abandoned lightly.

Nope, I'm a small format guy. Haven't used large format in 20 years and only used it a little back then.

Film? I have two 4x5s and 2 scanbacks - BetterLight and PhaseOne. I use a Toyo/BetterLight Super 6K with 2 North Light HID banks every day. It's the best tool for art reproduction.

Sinar X. Looks good sitting in the corner on it's tripod. Damn hard to get the thing onto a plane in my carry-on, and I'm not crazy about TSA folks asking me to open my boxes of unexposed 4x5 film to see whats in em.
