I'm starting to get the hang of the M8's files.
Jpegs are crap but the RAW files are outstanding!

It will take some time to shoot the M8 just like I do with M film cameras but I feel I'm getting there.

You can relate to what I said? If yes, then please post your M8 shots 🙂

Yes I agree about the RAW files and especially how they sharpen up so remarkably in post. I guess due to the absence of an AA filter. The other thing I did with my M8 files was to always set exposure compensation to about -1.0 especially in high contrast shots. Shadows could always have details pulled out of them, but the CCD file was a bugger if images were over exposed due to its lack of dynamic range. I found this always paid dividends.

The Steve C., M8.2 + IIRC Canon 28mm f/2.8. I like the way the M8's handle color. And in mono they are quiite good.

Here are a couple of favorite monos. One "The Gate" I have shot so many times. It is in Oysterville, WA. The second is the ship Regatta tarrying in Astoria during the Covid pandemic. Both shot with the Canon 28mm f/2.8 which seems to work well on this camera.
