I met a man once...
just a few shots from an event I shot for the Make a Wish foundation in Massachusetts with the m8 and 50mm pre-asph lux.
all shot between 640 and 1250 ISO with no problems.

Heh I wish but I got to borrow one for the show.
And I do all my post processing in lightroom.

I was told this place was better than this.
They were wrong. Just the same imature bickering you find at all the forums these days.
It all coincided with all the PNuts jumping the PNut ship.

what ISO are those shots @ CMOGi10?
is that a preset in lightroom?
i think its time to hang up aperture.

So, I finally got mine. I was well prepared for all the weaknesses, thanks to this site and others, so I'm veery close to be a 100% satisfied so far, all things considered.
I started out digitally with a Nikon D70. That was ok, but when I bought my first rangefinder a couple of years ago, it just felt so much better. Lately, I just haven't been using my Nikon much because it's so freakin' big! The M6 is soooo much better in every way. Still, I've been missing the advantages of digital, and considering that there is only one RF possibility in that world, I finally went for it.
In a way I feel rather uncomfortable owning a camera that expensive. Like I don't deserve it, you know? But then again, I could take it as an oportunity to improve my photography, right?
I'm home with my daughter a lot these days, so I don't get out to test it propperly that much, but then again, she's a pretty good motive too.

not the most typical of shots...was fixing the closet slider door and saw this through the crack...kind of fun.

this camera rocks!
this camera rocks!
I do love the way I use the viewfinder ... and when out I take more a film approach, and not a machine gun approach. Today it worked better than I thought - sometimes you get only 1 shot anyway ...
1 shot at home, one at the track (lucky I guess ...) - and believe me the car was not standing still (est 120kph) ...

Took it for a bike ride around Helsinki last night:
Very nice. Is that a 40mm or 35mm Nokton?
