Oh, very very nice tones. I'm really having second thoughts about getting rid of the 35mm Biogon (for the second time). I'm guessing the third time will be the charm.

why buy an m8....well, as much as I hate to speak about the stealth of it...it is significantly less intimidating than a bulky DSLR with megazoom attached.

what the m8 is meant to do.
ive been reading the threads discussing film vs: digi.
there is one thread asking how to make the m8 look like velvia, kodacrome etc. whats missing (for me) in those discussions is how to bring the best out of the m8.
this answers that question.
it isnt film its digital. this is where we are. leica gave us an amazing tool in a very raw form.
no it isnt a nikon d3, nor a canon top of the line dlsr.
its a leica rangefinder digital camera that takes leica glass. beautiful!
