just checking out this gallery for the first time. the files from the M8 look really great. to my eye (highly subjective of course) less digital look and feel than those coming from more expensive cameras
I wonder if as camera sensors become even sharper, they look even more digital and clinical ?

Hi,
Without IR filter ? do you mean that for B&W it is better to shoot without it ? What the difference it makes ?
I shoot mostly in B&W with my M8.2 do I have to take my filters off ?

I was talking about the Heliopan RG715 IR filter, but to your information, for b&w it's better without any filter at all.
The sensitivity of the M8 to IR is a good thing for taking b&w pictures, so you can take the filter out and shoot in DNG.
