Yes, SOOC might be a part explanation. But I like to be specific - and not have to explain that abbreviation. You can adjust jpegs in Lightroom choosing auto etc of course. Never good for golden hour shots. I have cropped this square too, so clearly not SOOC exactly.

There's nothing like it, even with its faults.
My M10 comes close for color, but the M9 look is its own.
I still have my M9 Monochrom and will never sell it.

I love the 35mm 2.8 Biogon M9 combination the best!

Out to Lunch, on Flickr. Saigon, April 2017. Leica M-E - Zeiss Biogon 2/35. As we speak, the Leica M-E is alive but not doing too well...sensor corrosion and I'll have
to send it to another country for the free sensor replacement and overhaul. I've decided to keep her with the old-school CCD sensor, instead of upgrading to a later model.
