Helen, I admire you for doing this. And your pictures.

OtL, great BW. I think, something was changed in new M-E sensor. In how my same old LR4.4 reads them...

I used M-E for entire week and realized what enabling 1/125 as minimal shutter speed has improved my results with M-E.

Thanks Helen and Ko.Fe. Re the 'new' sensor for the M-E, I have been wondering whether it will have the same specs, minus the corrosion, as the old one. On 1/125s, I took this one in Geneva on a cold and gray winters day in 2017, and I think the old CCD sensor renders very nicely:

Something is wrong those pictures are way better in rendering than from my M-E. Was it also limited on the sensor? 🙂

Any way. 09.09.09 M9 was announced.
This is Bruce Gilden:

Being a street photographer and working in crowded areas where the people are generally moving quite fast, the M9 camera is ideal for me.

I'm nowhere near to his crowds and him. But I took M-E on the streets and else.

Awhhh, Thank You Koysta
Lovely of You , Thanks !

Sometimes the M9 makes me feel closer to Eric
Good to keep Me focused... otherwise the tidal waves of Grief bring me to my knees

Helen,

I hadn't realized until seeing you post your image here that Eric had passed. My heartfelt condolences to you. Seeing pictures of him and pictures he made give a real sense of someone who would have been fun to know and be around.

I hope you can bond with the M9...it's truly a wonderful camera. I miss not having mine but sort feel I do with my MM. Anyway this thread is stronger with your contributions.

Seeing so many really nice images from long-time M9 people here (Sevres, Richard and Maggieo to name 3) as well as newer contributors is a treat!
M9 lives and it rocks! 🙂
