M9 frameline for a 40 mm lens

What frameline comes up with a CV Nokton 40 mm f 1.4 lens? 35 or 50?

50mm lines come up. People generally file down the flange on this lens to bring up the 35mm framelines. When I used it, the mount was very stiff so I just wouldn't click it in completely (just a hair from fully clicked) which would allow the 35mm framelines to show.
