M9, I am not enjoying it, is it just me?

I say just use whichever one makes you happier.

The one nice thing about shooting film right now is that digital will always be there if and when you decide to use it. The inverse might not always be true.

Keep the M9. It's a learning curve you just need to go through. If you sell it you'll regret it later on down the road. Why don't you do a year project using only the M9 & blog your experience.

The M9 will not be stone age. Maybe there will be 50 MP cameras with high ISO that is clean, but the M9 will make prints up to 16x20 today and forever and files to match anything. Do you need more MP.

I just keep reading about reliability issues on a $7000 camera and shudder to think of repair costs out of warrantee.

Sometimes a certain camera just doesnt work for you. I am the same with the Pens, I tried three different ones. But the Nex fits. Don't force it. If you don't have faith in your gear sell it.

LOL ... I should have known better than to hit you with a theory like that! :D

I prefer to think there's no hitting me there, and no arguing here... ;)

I accept it: times exist when chimping is good: it means closing time to me... It's in general related to a facial expression, but not to composition or exposure.

Cheers,

Juan

Sounds like you miss film and would be happier using it. Then use it, enjoy it, and do some good work with it. I feel no lure to return to film, but that's just I.
