M9 in the USA

There are usually a couple on eBay for a pretty good markup. Shadiness of the sellers varies.

If you're going to spend $7000 on a camera, you probably want a reputable person to stand behind the warranty, especially if buying anywhere outside the UK (Passport warranty for the M9 only available in the UK; US has two-year standard warranty).

I got mine from Popflash, and they are excellent. Alex and Tony at Popflash are excellent people.

I would suggest getting in touch with a Leica rep, get on a waiting list, and not worry about any of the aforementioned shadiness.

Agree.....Alex and Tony at Popflash are the best i've found in the US.
Anything 'LEICA' I get from Popflash......
