It's from THE leica shop in vienna. You may not like it but you will definitely get a camera in good working condition.

As stated in the listing, it WAS deliberately --ahem -- "antiqued" for want of a better word.
Also -- the wear is "even" and shows wear in places that would not normally become worn.
What's up with all this garbage?

It's certainly unique, so it has that going for it. Easily remedied w/ a little sanding, a can of black spray paint, and some judicious taping and masking. Having just finished painting my entire place, a little job like this would be more like a vacation.
