With Leica, all things are relative. They hold the keys to the iconic form of the 35mm camera. My wife went into bath and bodyworks last week, and I saw a model holding an M4 in one of their advertisements! Combine that with being the only game in town, and a luxury brand - boom. 1000 USD for a little makeup.

The expensive saphire glass on the M9-P is not upgrating the 230.000 pixel at this small 2.5" monitor! My comparable cheap bridgecamera has an brillant 3" monitor and 460.000 pixels! But no holy saphire cover glass, only an plastic protection film over it.
