So it seems I must have knocked my M9 yesterday on something, because the vertical alignment of my rangefinder is off by a lot. It's registered with Leica in my name, but I'm not entirely sure what to do-would this be covered under Warranty service, or should I just get it fixed elsewhere? And if the answer is elsewhere, who services digital Ms? I've sent my film bodies to Youxin or DAG in the past, but this is my first digital.
Thanks for the help!

Don of DAG can and will work on the focus. I would have Leica do it. If it went out from a small bump then I think they should cover it. It is known to be off at times without too much assistance. Now if off because a mirror has been dislodged, I don't know.

It is a very simple adjustment, remove the red dot, use a minimal drop of acetone to soften the glob of fixing glue, insert the special tool (a modified screwdriver) and adjust whilst checking in the viewfinder. Any Leica technician can do this in a few minutes.

My issue is I'm leaving for London next Tuesday and while the rangefinder is still accurate it's quite annoying to focus with a vertical calibration mismatch. It'll never get to a repair center here, get fixed, and make it back in time for that. UK Leica Service claims they have to send it out to Solms-does anyone know of any places in London that'll repair digital Ms on the spot? My hotel is a quick walk to Classic Camera, but I've heard mixed things about them...

Do you have an image of the modified screw driver?

My M9's vertical alignment is off too. Still undecided between sending it in or fixing it myself... Here's pic of vertical alignment tool from eBay
